Celina & Julia Benedic are two sisters creating guitar-led music that translates complex inner emotional states into structured symbolic narratives. Their songs use cinematic, surreal storytelling to describe feelings of longing, fear, joy and intimacy. Through hypnotic vocals and immersive songwriting, they create work that allows listeners to recognise internal states they are often unable to name or articulate — and feel less alone within them
Celina
Celina is a lifelong poetry writer and active presence in Onești’s photography scene — became the project’s main lyricist and visual architect.
Julia
Julia began playing guitar at the age of 13 after being inspired by a Catholic group their parents regularly took her to. What began as a personal connection to music gradually became the foundation of the sisters’ creative language
